Created by Maksym Razin in 2462 and funded by the Followers of Nated, the Spearhead Chosen is a unit of religious Tajara fighting as volunteers in Gakal'zaal. They consider the conflict a holy war against the alien religions. These fighters are infamous for their fanaticism toward their theocratic cause. While under the command of the Liberation Army, they are more loyal to Razin than to Huwaytat. Some fear that the promises of disbanding the Chosen after the insurgency is over will not be fulfilled.

The facility was built by Unathi to serve as their seat of power; it was abandoned after the planet joined the Democratic People’s Republic, taken over by Tajara, and turned into a spaceport. It has also become a smuggler's haven as, thanks to them, the large-scale transports of men and materials became possible. Now they enjoy a degree of immunity from the authorities after creating this large black market on the station.
