However this was extremely stratified and mostly constrained to the major cities in what is now known as the Untouched Lands. Other areas of Moghes, namely in the countryside and outside Izweski control, were equivalent to Earth in the 20th or 19th century. The Unathi had access to modern medicine, universities, and other modern amenities, if they were a member of the middle class or nobility. However most of the wealth was concentrated in the hands of landed vassals, and few unlanded Unathi had the ability or means to advance in society. A complex global trade network was also present. Unathi at this time had mechanized, with access to clunky, open-top cars powered by traditional gasoline. 			Spaceflight technology drastically improved, allowing for more efficient travels to Ouerea; whereas pre-First Contact Unathi ships would bring a less than dozen of Unathi at most in a one-way trip, new ships were veritable liners and freighters that, while unable to achieve faster than light travels, could reach Ouerea with speed and ease and head back to Hegemony to be replenished. This stratified and limited distribution of technology also applied to whatever the Hegemony gained from trading with these alien visitors, with the first privately owned spacecrafts appearing by 2412, being only available to the few clans that happened to be wealthy enough to afford such advanced ships. This would also lead to the creation of the first military ships fielded by the Hegemony in 2417 after the first act of space piracy committed earlier, the very same year.

As Ouerea proved to be self-sufficient thanks to the Hegemony’s massive technological leap foward, the Izweski Space Program turned its attention to a new objective: building a warp-capable ship. After years of researches and cooperation with Jargon and Solarian scientists, the Hegemony unveiled to Moghes the very first warp-capable, Unathi-made ship, named Uezwik’s Hope, after the chief scientist that led the project until his death during an unfortunate accident while testing ship systems (something that many had seen as a sign for the rest of the project). In 2437, Uezwik’s Hope left Moghes, with a crew of 32 souls, composed of some of the brightest Unathi minds, many being part of Moghe’s most influential clans. The ship was meant to move to the edge of the Uueoa-Esa system, activate its warp engines, and reach a neighboring system where a Solarian ship would meet them and assist them if needed. However, when the time came to spool up the warp engines, a catastrophic malfunction led to the ship being crushed under its own warp bubble.. The failure sends shockwaves through all of Moghes, with the Izweski Nation suddenly besieged by scattered, angry neighboring Clans outraged by the unnatural use of technology leading to the loss of Unathi lives, some of the brightest and most respected Moghes had, no less. On the 3rd of February 2438, a second attempt at Warp travel would prove to be successful, but the damages had been done, and tensions between the Hegemony and many increasingly hostile clans rose drastically. The fact that the Hegemony had now access to not only Ouerea, but also Warp Technology while the rest of Moghes was attempting to catch up, only aggravated fears of an absolute supremacy of the Hegemony, as well as the death of modern Unathi society and culture.

	The Sol Alliance partnered with the Nralakk Federation to help Izweski construct a second rocket, with Nanotrasen engineers and scientists helping construct it.
