Augments

Basic augments can be selected via the loadout and will be installed and functional from roundstart. They have different costs of loadout points according to their practical use ingame. Restrictions apply to different species, Vaurca for example are not compatible with the augmentations used by other species. All augments function as organs, can be found via the medical scanner and damaged by EMPs from different sources like the Ion rifle or chemistry.

Augment Disruption

Due to the nature of some augments such as the retractable combitool, security is given a box of disruption implants that will stop all augments from functioning. A box of those can be found in the armory and should only be used if a prisoner has shown the willingness to use augments for an escape or to harm others.

Repairing Augments

To repair a damaged augment, a surgeon is required to open a surgical site via the steps found here. After the damaged augment is located and exposed nanopaste can be applied to restore its function.
