Dionae Technology

Dionae across the Orion Spur have created various forms of Technology, used to assist in everyday life, more specifically for the species. Whilst the technology is primarily used by Dionae, it has been noted to easily be converted to be capable of being used by other sentient species through the use of modifiers and implementations of technology splicing.

Dionae Hypersonic

A Sonic Firearm capable of being used via rootsong, against Dionae.

A weapon created through the use of hyper-focusing rootsong into a method of disabling Dionae. It releases high-pitched inhibitors that disrupt, or even halt, the electromagnetic frequency for a relatively short period of time. The lack of an electromagnetic frequency will typically 'unbalance' Dionae and render them motionless.

Non-Dionae Hypersonic

A splice of various technologies, eventually leading to the creation of the HyperSonic - a device that scrambles the electromagnetic frequency through a series of high-pitched noises, almost completely rooting a Dionae in place. It is slightly less effective as the Dionae HyperSonic, but is easily allows the disabling of a Dionae by non-Dionae forces.

Actomium Forges

The Actomium Forge is essentially a large construct using extremely condensed Iolid, which is then heated through the use of various combustibles as well as Phodot, to allow for smelting to occur. The Actomium Forge traps superheated air within a small area that is extremely heated, which allows for smelting to occur with relatively little impurities thanks to the negative pressure created by designated Actomiums (Dionae Blacksmiths).

There is currently only two known to the general population of the Orion Spur; H-Z-63 and the Biesellian Choir.

Aegsexite Collider

The Aegsexite Collider is a recent discovery, thanks to Scientists on Xrim. It is an extremely volatile technology capable of reversing growth of Nymphs through electromagnetic field manipulation. There is currently one located through-out the Orion Spur with outputs varying with each individual nymph, with a growing number of unsuccessful results many are wary of entering.

Phodot

Phodot, an acidic byproduct of the production of Ambergris, has been used for dozens of different commodities. Phodot is a powerful adhesive that allows for the construction of Dionae structures, as well as Non-Dionae structures, thanks to its characteristics. It can also be used to smelt various minerals as when heated, it can reach temperatures as high as 3000C (5400F).

Iolid

Iolid, an almost concrete substance used to create structures. It is formed through the use of compacted waste-byproducts (such as unnecessary Biomass). It is an incredible insulator, and has been known to survive through situations deemed hostile for a variety of other substances. Iolis are incredibly specialised gestalts that have been taught methods to create this substance, and can typically be over a century old.

Tachium

Tachium, an incredibly corrosive substance that Dionae use to breakdown biomass. It forms naturally in Gas Bladders, and needs to be expelled at least bi-weekly or it can lead to severe health issues. It is typically used in mining, and demolition work.
