H'uus, The Irenicworld
H'uus, the fourth planet in the system of Aunala, suffered a catastrophic event that led to nearly all life to be snuffed out. Previously home to over a billion Dionae - now, a mere few hundred thousand dot the landscapes of H'uus. H'uus has slowly begun to recover, with assistance from various interstellar nations pledging support. Dionae are
History
The Precursor Epoch
H'uus is believed to have formed around a singular nymph - calling out for others to join it in its path. The Legend behind Asrael’s song has since been told throughout the generations. Not much is known about this time period of H'uus, except that the Dionae were ‘unawakened’. Many believe this era to be a bygone era of time where the Dionae had more primitive and primal instincts.
The Celestial Era
It has been said that the Celestial Era was the beginning of recorded life on H'uus - when the Dionae began to archive their discoveries, advancements and history. Each ‘State’ having their Archivist - tasked with recording everything they had witnessed, eventually conjoining with the other Archivists to ensure multiple perspectives had been recorded. During times of strife amongst the ‘States’, it was agreed upon that the Archivists were not to be harmed and allowed to merge to maintain an unbiased recording of history.
Age of Ashes
It was recorded that shortly before the annual merging of the Archivists, H'uus faced an extinction-level event, with one of its six moons colliding with a sizable celestial object - shattering the moon. This caused sizable chunks on the moon to plunge into H'uus, causing various environmental dangers such as; Tsunamis, Earthquakes and eventually causing a planet-wide ashfall. H'uus was said to have suffered greatly during this time - with millions of Dionae dying due to the lack of exposure to light, as well as an ecological disaster causing the majority of the fauna and flora to die out.
The Extinction Aeon
The Ashfall sent the population of H'uus back hundreds, if not thousands of years. With the majority of the Dionae having died, and the planet reeling back from the ecological damage done to it - it made survival almost impossible for those that remained. With only two original archivists surviving the event - they were forced to merge with non-archivists in an attempt to ensure that their history was not lost. Records state that during this period, although no definitive date was given, the small groups of Dionae that had survived reconstructed ‘Pillars of Light’ severely improving their chances of survival. A Cluster eventually merged with the last remaining archivist, expanding around a particular monument. They were known as ‘The Last Archivists’.
Era of Recovery (Present)
There are few pockets of survivors around H'uus, with the majority of the ecological damage being repaired over the last few millennia - however, the survivors can still feel the damage from the Age of Ashes. ‘The Last Archivists’ eventually formed a large beacon - in an attempt to lure help or contact other groups of survivors. More pillars have been constructed in an attempt to further expand, but it has been limited due to many Dionae being preyed on by other species on Asrael.
Notable Locations
Bribri, the home of the remaining Archerum. The settlement of Bribri has slowly begun to expand into the surrounding valleys thanks to innovative tactics and strategy by the survivors - with many hailing the settlement as the light in the dark for those on H'uus. Its proximity to natural resources on H'uus has greatly allowed the settlement to prosper during the Era of Recovery. City2 City3 City4
