Konyang

Summary

A colony in the outer rim of Sol Alliance control, Konyang's environment is dominated by coastal jungles and inland deserts due to the rain shadow of its pervasive mountain ranges. The majority of Konyang's population, descended primarily from Korean and Chinese colonists, lives in these coastal jungles. Further inland Zeng-Hu facilities can be found conducting research in the quite sterile deserts of the planet, surrounded by small settlements designed to support the facilities. While the coastal regions of Konyang are wet but livable, the deserts are quite harsh and arid - life outside of Zeng-Hu facilities is extremely tough at the best of times. Due to Konyang's distance from Sol, both the Sol First Party and System Freedom Party battle for control over it, with the System Freedom Party being more popular in Zeng-Hu areas and the Sol First Party being more popular in coastal areas. s.
